Pigment that creams can't reach
Some pigmentation, such as sun spots, freckles and certain birthmarks, and unwanted tattoos sit in the skin as tiny particles of colour. Creams can’t always reach them.
How pico laser works
A pico laser delivers energy in extremely short pulses. This breaks pigment or ink into tiny fragments that the body clears over the following weeks.
- Pigmentation: sun spots, freckles and selected pigment problems
- Tattoo removal: fades ink gradually; dark colours usually respond best
- Skin quality: some settings can improve texture and tone
- Sessions: several, a few weeks apart

How many sessions are needed for tattoo removal?
It depends on the tattoo’s size, colours and depth, and several sessions are usually needed.
Is pico laser suitable for melasma?
Melasma needs careful assessment; laser is used only for selected cases and alongside other treatment.
